Born in Boston, Massachusetts Glenford Lee Prospere AKA “MasSicker” was the first son of his Parents Glenford and Pauline who were immigrants from Montserrat and Jamaica Respectively.

Being brought up in a musical family that was centered around their Caribbean church it was not long before the many forms of music that influenced “Lee”, as he is affectionately called by his church family and childhood friends who knew him before he grew into a 6 foot 4 giant, began to flow out of him.

Though Lee's first musical passion was singing (Since age 5) in church events, school plays, and his school chorus, over time he has blossomed into a very versatile singer/producer/songwriter with a unique style that accurately depicts the mash up between his Caribbean roots and his American upbringing.

This cultural collision is evident through his cross-genre musical style from Roots Reggae, to R&B, straight back to a Dancehall Sing-Jay style.

Lee began performing under the name “MasSicker” because it represents where he was born and raised (the Boston massacre) and it holds social relevance to what is going on in the streets of Boston as well as many poor, black communities around the world.

Although MasSicker is no longer a Christian, or a supporter of any religion for that matter, he still strives to live righteously and make music that is real rather than just “singing what sells”. MasSicker’s catalog includes many songs of love, songs of hope and upliftment, and a party song or two for the ladies.

Currently, MasSicker is taking a break from college (majoring in psychology) to pay off his loans but he is a very active student who enjoys reading and believes that education is the key to leading a wholesome life and making a positive difference in your community.

MasSicker is involved in music in many ways including his occupation as a selector on the “Viral Sounds” sound system alongside his cousin known as DJ Epidemik as his sound partner. He also works a part-time job at Micro Center in Cambridge, MA and is an example of a young black entrepreneur with his goals of uplifting himself and his community in sight.

MasSicker has been collaborating with many artists around Boston and appearing at local stage shows and recording studios for many years and is a fairly seasoned performer. At 20 years old this artist is full of potential and is ready to bring good vibes, as well as knowledge, to the people.
