The first Annual One CARIBBEAN Music Festival took place in Broward County at The Central Broward Regional Park, in Fort Lauderdale Florida on Saturday December 13th and Sunday December 14th, 2014. In my opinion the total presentation was a success base on location, security, vendors space, stage Production, Artists delivery, sponsors booth presentation, Grounds sanitation (which included the rest rooms for patrons) and the media area was well set to accommodate all News outlet presented.
The crowd for both days were minimal but bare in mind it was the first festival of its kind, at this time of the year. Plus, given the fact that it’s the biggest holiday season of the year and not many people were going to alter their spending budget.
Nonetheless, I considered the festival a Success in its presentation and a lessen well learned for the promotors to improved on. Once again. This is my opinion. I walked away well pleased because I was impressed with the security presence inside and outside the park. I applauded the Broward Sheriff Department Men and Women in uniforms and the local security firm for their professional services. I felt safe inside the Park and after the show ended I walked to the public parking area outside where I was parked and there was multiple security and Police presence on hand as well.
Big ups to all the sponsors who also made it possible for such a wonderful Festival. Donna’s Caribbean Restaurant, Scotchies, Broward 100, HOT 105 FM, Jamaica Jazz & Blues, SteadyImage, National Weekly and VP Records both of whom celebrating 10 & 35 years respectively.
The Artists performances were top notch
I am looking forward for the 2nd Annual OneCaribbeanMusicFestival in 2015.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
