The 37th International Reggae And World Music Awards (IRAWMA) will be held at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston Jamaica on May 11th, 2019.
Mr. Ephraim M. Martin the founder and chairman of this prestigious annual event will stage IRAWMA in Kingston, Jamaica for the first time. The event was previously held in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and other major cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New Orleans, New York, and Port of Spain.
The International Reggae And World Music Awards was established in 1982 to acknowledge and honour the accomplishments/contributions of reggae and world music artists, including songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians. The IRAWMA will be a memorable event for the Reggae homeland as we celebrate 50 years of music in the making.
Nomination forms are available at www.irawma.com/vote The deadline to nominate the best of 2018 is March 1, 2019. Public voting will be held March 11, 2019 thru April 20, 2019.
